National Take A Walk Day

Wise choices create the outcomes we desire.

Hey, did you know that April 2 is National Take A Walk Day? I didn’t. Well, not until I heard it on the radio this morning.

Take a walk. What a terrific idea. Oh, you missed it because the day is almost over? No worries. Walk around — even if it’s just for 5 or 10 minutes.

Then, of course, you might want to take another walk tomorrow. Just to keep a little momentum going. After all, that’s how habits begin. A little bit today. A little more tomorrow. And, a little more the day after that. That’s really all it takes – especially if you’re not already walking or exercising in some other way.

Some great things about walking:

1) It can be done alone

or in a group.

2) It can be done outdoors or indoors.

3) Age doesn’t matter.

4) And, there’s not much equipment to buy.

And, so many more — relieves stress, builds your lung capacity, helps you get healthy…

So, get up and take a walk. It could be the start of something wonderful and magical.
